Dear Linda, I can only imagine the devastating loss this must be to your family. Mary-Jo was my very first friend. I will always cherish the many memories I have of her. When Aunt Ellie & Grammie would visit and the stories Grammie would tell us about her pet spider. I still have a Xmas ornament that Mary-Jo gave me when I was 4, and a tablecloth your mom made for me when I was 5. The tablecloth has been enjoyed by 3 generations, and I'm sure will be enjoyed by the ones yet to come. Mary-Jo was very special and will never be forgotten. I will keep you in my prayers. Love, Pattie

Dear Family of Mary-Jo,
I am deeply saddened at the loss of Mary-Jo. We attended Danbury High School together, (Both class of '75) and I remember her as a sweet and beautiful girl. We shared a gym class and had to wear these crazy baby blue jumpers!
So long ago, but some people you always remember with such fondness.
Love to your family at this difficult time.

Mary was an amazing presence on many animal help sites. She was like this all knowing angel that always helped people looking for their animals or others trying to find lost pets’ parents! She was always a source of grace for all of the sites. She helped so many lost pets & people! Being such a big loss for us here in central Florida, I know it must be an enormous loss for the family and friends. Warm wishes to you for that.I’m certain all the animals crowded around to greet her into heaven. Her sweet messages will be sorely missed here. Peace to all.

Dear Linda,
I am so very sorry for the lost of your sister. Mary Jo was my first friend at Shelter Rock. We remained friendly through high school and then we lost touch. I am so grateful that she found me on Facebook and that we were able to renew our friendship. May she rest in peace.

Dear Linda, I am so sorry to hear of Mary Jo’s passing. We became Facebook friends a while ago when she sent me a friend request. I’m so glad she did. It brought back wonderful memories of Animal Hill and Shelter Rock. Just of being a kid again. Mary Jo was always so nice and kind! I can see why she had a love of nature and of the “critters” she found in her yard. I loved looking at them all. The pictures and flowers were so beautiful and calming. The “critters” I was used to since we always were either in the woods, the field behind my house on Circle Terrace or the Still River. My thoughts and prayers are with Mary Jo, you, and your family...prayers for everlasting peace for Mary Jo..

I have many great memories of Mary, as we grew up together. We lived on Animal Hill USA, as we liked to call it. Mary always loved her animals, all of them big and small, even bugs, she would always save them. I remember her bunny, Poopalot, and going to the rabbit hutch in her back yard to play with him. Sleepovers with all of us girls, and high school. After high school, going out on the weekends, hearing bands play, being typical teenagers! All such fond memories❤️ Her family was mine, and my family was hers. We had a great friendship, and I will miss her dearly❤️ My sympathies to LINDA and her family.
