We met Frank through the MVP Athletic Club here in The Villages, FL and became good friends with Frank and Edy. Occasionally, we would get together with the Pugnes for breakfast, lunch or dinner with two (2) other couples. After Edy passed away, he enjoyed coming over for holiday dinners. He was planning on having dinner with us on Easter. We called him on Wednesday and again on Thursday, but got no response. Therefore, we decided to drive over to his house to check on him. When there was no response at the door, Charlotte went to his next-door neighbor's house, who informed her that he had passed away.
Frank was a good person and a good friend with many members of the MVP Athletic Club, serving as a "Personal Trainer" for some of the women. He will be missed by all of us who got to know him over the years. - Sam E. & Char Williams - The Villages, FL

Dear Family,
I am very sad to read about the passing of Frank. He was my friendly neighbor in The Villages and a Pittsburgher like me. I had built my house a year before the Pugnes. Frank kept an eye out for my property alerting me to snakes, armadillos, weeds, and of course lighting problems. He took great pride in his yard and amazing lemon tree. He was a brave and caring man. I was honored to know him. God bless all of you. Kay Barry
