Obituary of Mary Helen Traxler

Mary Helen Traxler, 95, of Ocala, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at her son’s home in St. Cloud, FL.  “Helen” was born in Goulds, FL to Albert and Aris Bazemore.  She moved to Ocala from Deltona, FL around 1980.  She was a wife, mother, and homemaker and worked as a sales clerk at Zayres department store.  Helen enjoyed ceramics and her favorite dish, pork chops and lima beans! 

She is predeceased by her husband Humie Allen Traxler, Jr. (2004), and her grandson Brian Traxler (2010).

Helen is survived by her daughter Anita Lewis of Ocala, son Allen Traxler of St. Cloud, FL, grandchildren Ann Marie Savage and Robert Allen Lewis, 4 great grandchildren; Sammy, Alex, Jeremiah, and Jadea, a sister Eugenia Barger, a brother Wilbur Bazemore, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday March 17^th at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Ocala.  Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday March 18^th at the funeral home with burial to follow at Anthony Cemetery in Anthony, FL.
