So hard to say good bye to such a special family friend. Jim and I always looked forward to seeing "Big Ted" on his trips up to Tallahassee to visit Ted and Heather. We always begged him to stay at our house. We also loved to take him out on our pontoon boat and we always served fried chicken! His amusing stories always made us laugh. We are so fortunate to have known him as long as we did. Grid bless him!

Daily life was made better by Big Ted’s telling of it, and many of his stories ended with someone or something “high-tailing it!” I guess this was your time. My condolences to his extended family, especially Tripp and Jenni-benni, his first captive audience. ~Catherine
