Obituary of Donald E. Jackson

Donald E Jackson, 72, of Ocala, FL passed away on Sunday, February 16^th, 2020 at West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala. He was born on August 14^th, 1947 in Gardner, ME. He was the son of late Vinal and Mary Jackson. Donald was a native to the Portsmouth, NH area until he relocated to central Florida in 1997. Donald was a firefighter in the city of Portsmouth for 23 years and he retired as a lieutenant in 1993. He was also a member of the New Hampshire National Guard from 1966 till 1972 where he took an 8-year leave before enlisting in the Army Reserve. He served in the Army Reserve from 1980 to 1996 where he retired as an army drill Sargent.

Donald is survived by 2 of his brothers Marc Jackson and Wendell Jackson, both of New Hampshire, his wife Carol S. Jackson of Ocala, his children Tricia L. Warren and Donald J Jackson of Ocala and Susan V. Kollefrath of Bourbonnais, IL. His grand children Katelyn Jackson of Ocala, FL Breanna and Michaella Warren of Sanford, ME, Shyanne Kollefrath-Dangler of Ocala, FL, Thomas D. Kollefrath of Ocala, FL and Elliot J. Jackson of Highland Springs, VA. He is also survived by his 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
