Obituary of Kenneth Stuart Michaelson

Kenneth Stuart Michaelson, of Ocala, Florida, age 78 years,  passed on February 17, 2020.  Ken was born on July 17, 1941 in Bronx, New York to Lawrence and Minnie Michaelson. Ken was a graduate of Brooklyn Law School.  He practiced law with the Legal Aid Society, including leading the Law Guardian Program for children in Rockland County, New York before moving into private practice. He and his wife of almost 54 years, Sharon Michaelson, moved to Ocala, Florida in 2016.  Ken enjoyed exercising, cars, fishing, reading and spending time with his family and dog Mack. 

Ken is survived by his wife, Sharon Michaelson, his daughters Jocelyn Michaelson and Jessica Hodkinson, son-in-law Mark Hodkinson, Grandchildren, Isabella, Levi, Sophie and Harry, his sister, Barbara Taylor, and his nieces and nephews and cousins and friends. 

The graveside funeral will be held on February 19, 2020 at 1 pm B'nai Darom Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Condolences may be expressed at www.hiers-baxley.com.
