Obituary of Frieda Gerd Chamberlin

Frieda Gerd Chamberlin, 91, of Gainesville passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Haven Hospice in Gainesville. Frieda was born September 25, 1928 the daughter of the late Henry and Gerda Nilsen in Norway. In 1951 she married Martens Chamberlin, a decorated WWII Veteran, and together the two shared many years of love and happiness.

Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Agnes Chamberlin Archer, FL, Florence Chamberlin of Worthington, MA and Maxine Nilsen of TX; and five nieces and nephews including, Arlene Chamberlin Bailey, George Richard Chamberlin, Laura Lee Estepp, Henry Bryan Nilsen, and Michael George Nilsen.

Predeceased by her husband, Martens Chamberlin; her parents; and her siblings.
