Obituary of Evelyn S. Alderman

Evelyn S. Alderman, 83, of Belleview, FL, went home on Sunday, January 19, 2020.  Evelyn was born in Lynn, AL to Newell and Paralee McGough. She grew up in south Florida, moved to central Florida in 1967, and has been a resident of Marion County since 1971.  She has been a member of the Church of Christ from early adulthood, and most recently attended Belleview Church of Christ.  Evelyn retired from the Marion County Tax Collector’s Office. She spent the majority of her time growing flowers and spoiling her large family.  She also had an affinity for dogs of all kinds.

Evelyn was predeceased by her son Randy Alderman, 2 brothers Bob and Billy McGough, and a sister Betty Howe.

She is survived by children; Peggy Allen, Barbara (Bill) Wiggins, Tony Alderman, and Darlene (Jim) Shay, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, daughter in law Debbie Larue, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10-10:30 am on Saturday, February 1^st at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service in Belleview.  Funeral services will begin at 10:30am on that day and burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Ocala.
