Obituary of Viola Primona "Kitty" Dubry

Viola Primona “Kitty” Dubry, 84, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.  Kitty was born in Waterlane, Clarendon, Jamaica, West Indies to Cleveland Davis and Vera Manning.  She moved to Ocala in 1992 from Queens, NY.  Kitty was a seamstress “par excellence” and eventually became a fashion designer. 

Kitty was an excellent cook and loved to entertain, and travel. 

Kitty was predeceased by her husband Amos George Dubry in 2008, her brothers: Class, Nathan, and Dennis, sisters: Faye, Joyce, Pauline, and Yvonne “Peggy”.  She is survived by her daughter Bernice Trench, brothers: Dennis “Keith” and Lindon, and sisters: Avis, Cecile, and Olive “Ida”, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and grand-nieces and nephews.

Funeral service on Saturday, December 28^th will begin with visitation at the funeral home from 1-2pm, ceremony at 2pm followed by burial at Highland Memorial Park at 3pm.  A repast will be held at Golden Corral, 2111 SW College Rd.  Ocala, FL 34474, beginning at 3:30pm.
