Obituary of Michael Albert Johnson

THE VILLAGES – Michael Albert Johnson, 80, passed from this life December 13, 2019.  Born in Governors Island, NY, he was the son of the late Henry and Helen (McColl) Johnson.  He served his country in the U. S. Army during the late 1950s.

Michael was a retired manager for the Minigrip Zip-Pak Corp of Orangeburg, NY.  Following retirement, he and his late wife, Rosemary moved to The Villages in 2005.

Besides his parents and siblings, Michael was predeceased by his loving wife Rosemary Abrams Johnson in 2012. He leaves his children; Lisa Johnson of Garnerville, NY; Michael A. Johnson, of Highland Falls, NY; Steven Johnson of Pottstown, PA and (11) grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation to be held on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages.  Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
