Obituary of Deborah Jean Hurteau

Deborah Jean Hurteau, 69, of Citra passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at her home. Deborah was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to this area in 1978. She worked as a registered nurse for over thirty years in the Ocala area. Deborah loved spending her time gardening and crafting. She also loved baking cookies with her mom and all of her friends. Deborah had a sweet tooth and could never turn down chocolate. She also attended the Methodist Church in Citra.

Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, William Hurteau; children, Gidget (Leo) Kasper, Michelle Hurteau, Rhonda (Dickie) Wilder, and Derek Bryant; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Ron Shelby of Houston, TX and Steven Shelby of Rosswell, GA; and many other family members and friends.

Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Alice Shelby.
