Obituary of Ronald Edwin Tombley

Ronald Edwin Tombley, 86, of Ocala passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Kindred Hospital in Ocala. Ronald grew up in Miami and moved to this area in 1970. He was a maintenance supervisor for Goodwill.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, playing his guitar and singing.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy.  Survivors include his wife Carol Ann; son Duke Tombley; daughter Nona Tombley; brother Jerry “Rusty” Tombley (Nancy); sisters Joyce Hall and Val Stemple; grandson Eston Butler; uncle Bill Bruce; nieces Kate (Josh) Yates, Jennifer Hoyt, Alesa (Justin) Tortora, Ashley (Nate) Whitley, Leann Messersmith and Valree Smilek, Shelly Sargent, Kelli Ice; nephews Matt Matolcsy, Kenneth Tombley, Jeff Tombley, Adam Hoyt, Jason Blair. A funeral service will be held at 12PM on December 21, 2019 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL, 34470.
