Obituary of Norma E. Sweeney

Norma E. Sweeney, 92, of Silver Springs, Florida passed away on November 14th, 2019 at Estelle’s Hospice House in Ocala, Florida after a short illness. Norma was born in Proctor, Vermont and lived in Massachusetts and then Endwell, New York before moving to her final home in Silver Springs, Florida in 1982. Norma held several jobs during her lifetime with her last and most favorite job as a furniture salesperson for Trelease Furniture in Endwell, New York.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Christi Sweeney of Silver Springs, Florida and Helen Estes of Homestead, Florida. She is also survived by her son Steve Sweeney and her daughter in law Kimberly Sweeney of Port St Lucie, Florida. She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Ann Sweeney. Norma is survived by 6 grandchildren including Nichole Sweeney of Coral Springs, Florida; Ashley Sweeney of Battle Creek, Michigan; Robert Sweeney of Sparr, Florida; Christopher Sweeney of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Katelyn Henley of Coral Springs, Florida; Sheridon Henley of Ocala, Florida and 1 great grandchild Daxx Gwaltney of Coral Springs, Florida. She was proceeded in death by her husband Reginald J. Sweeney of Silver Springs, Florida in February 2009.

A funeral service was held by her final resting place in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Ocala, Florida alongside her husband Reginald on November 23rd, 2019 that was attended by family and friends.
