Obituary of Betty M Walsh

Betty M. Walsh, 90, of Summerfield, FL, passed away November 17, 2019 at Ocala Regional Hospital.  She was born November 12, 1929 in Belleview, FL, to Hugh Charlton Remington and Mattie Redding Remington. She attended school in Summerfield before moving to Chicago, IL, where she met and married Anthony Joseph Walsh in 1954.  After retirement, they returned to live in Belleview.

She was preceded in death by  her parents, her husband and her siblings, Dorothy Winegard, Ocala, FL; Theron Remington, Ocala, FL; Margery Williamson, Summerfield, FL; Lettie Adele Watson, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and Edward Remington, Ocala, FL. Betty leaves behind to mourn her passing eleven nieces and nephews, her caregivers Barbara Budden and Jimmie Mason and many friends.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services-Belleview. Sentiments may be left at hiers-baxley.com.
