Obituary of Clara Lacson Penaflor

Clara Lacson Penaflor, 93, of Ocala passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019. Clara was born in the Philippines before moving to this area. She was a member of Present Truth Ministries. Clara loved  her family. She enjoyed needlepoint, traveling, and cooking.

Survivors include her children, Regina (Michael) Hatcher of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Isabel Anasco  of Ocala , Florida, and Edward (Nilda) Penaflor of Kokomo, Indiana; her grandchildren, Michael and Matthew (Erin) Hatcher,  David (Chris) and Rey Anasco and Kay (Jesse), John (Shannan) and Charles Penaflor; and her great-grandchildren, Brylee and Flora Hatcher, Eric , Faith , Daniel and Gabriella Anasco,  Cora , Ember, Jaydn and Evelyn Landis, and JP Penaflor.

Predeceased by her husband Jose and grandson Eric .

A funeral service will be held ‪at 6:00PM on November 21, 2019 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala, ‪910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala , FL, 34470. A visitation will be held ‪from 5:30PM on November 21, 2019 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala. Following the service, friends and family are invited to a dinner at 7PM at Present Truth Ministries Fellowship Hall (‪5601 NE 7th ‪Street, Ocala, FL 34470).
