Obituary of Kathleen A. Philips

Kathleen “Kathy” A. Phillips, age 70, of The Villages, FL passed from this life after a short but courageous fight against cancer on Monday, October 7, 2019. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 16, 1949. Kathy is survived by her son Perry; beloved grandchildren Natalie and Austin; sisters and brothers in law Donna Ward (Redmond Ryan), Mary Ann Roberts (Bernard) and Patti Hepler (Alan).

Kathy was employed by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She moved to The Villages in 2001. She worked for The Villages Hospitality Department for 12 years. Kathy enjoyed cruises, traveling and baking. She was also an avid volunteer at St Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.
