Obituary of James H. “Jim” Lemon
James H. “Jim” Lemon passed away on September 9, 2019 at the age of 82 after fighting a brave and heroic battle with cancer. Jim was born and raised in Norristown, PA, on December 27, 1936, the son of the late Ada H. and Jasper Earl Lemon, Sr. Jim graduated from Eisenhower Sr. High in Norristown, class of 1954.
He is survived by three brothers, Jasper Earl, Jr., William C. and R. Thomas Lemon; three sisters, Jeanette Roberts, Sandra Bouder, and the late Elaine Moreland. He leaves behind his loving and devoted partner, Mary Ackley of nine years. In addition, he is survived by two sons, James Brian Lemon and Jeffrey Scott Lemon, a daughter, Candace Marie DiDomenico, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Jim served in the US Army, Military Police Division, from November 1956 to November 1958 at a Top Security Installation at Killeen, TX.
Jim held a variety of sales and management positions with Trailmobile (Pullman Division), Brown Trailer (Clark Equipment Division), and The Budd Company in management and executive positions, retiring in September 1983.
Family and friends are invited to attend an informal gathering at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, FL on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11am to celebrate his life.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Hospice or a donor’s choice in memory of James H. “Jim” Lemon.
