I am so sorry for your lost. I had the privilege and honor of having both my girls on Donna's class. She had such a tremendous impact on all of us. Abigail is going to be a senior this year and Rebecca is starting 6th grade, both my girls love books and I credit that great foundation to their education to her. I'm sorry that we cannot attend services to celebrate her extraordinary life. Your family is in our prayers.

I spent several years teaching with Donna at Genesis. She was so sweet and caring. She loved her students and her coworkers. I am truly sad and can’t imagine what a lost this is to the people who loved her. She made a difference in so many lives, including mine.

Donna was my daughter's kindergarten teacher 11 years ago. She was a wonderful teacher, but I also counted her a friend. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She loved her family and was very proud of all of you. There are hundreds -- possibly thousands -- of children who are better readers today because of Donna. She was a bright light to many, and I know you'll all miss her terribly. My prayers are that your memories will bring you all peace and comfort in the coming days.

Our Beloved Donna,
We cannot believe you’re gone. Thank you for your hospitality over the years, sharing your great smile and our wonderful times together. Two weeks ago we shared a wonderful time on the Riviera Maya, good food, great drinks and wonderful friends. Now you are gone, but you left us with memories we will cherish forever. We will always be ready to toast you and the great memories we made together. I cannot put into words how much I will miss Donna aka Nonnie. We meet under unique circumstances but I always thought of her as a close friend and sometimes my partner in crime.
