Charles Liebegott joined his heavenly family on May 13,2019

He was predeceased by parents Reverend Charles E. Liebegott.  sister Lois Hesse and niece Bonnie Myers.  He will be missed by his devoted wife Elaine Foster Liebegott ,the love of his life for33 years.  stepdaughter, Debbie Berger, Son-In-Law Bruce Berger , grandsons, Adam and Andrew Berger.   His Nephew, Reverend Victor Myers and Niece Janet Andrus. He also leaves his 4 children Kari Francis, Kurt Liebegott Kent Liebegott and Kirsten Shultz all of Cape Coral Fl.14grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren

Chuck was born in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from Akron University with a BS in Industrial Management. He was an Alumni of Price Waterhouse where he served as a consultant, traveling the US. He retired from Travelers Insurance Company in Hartford, Connecticut in 1995 after 26 years. As a manager he received numerous awards including the prestigious CPCU designation in insurance. Chuck was an avid follower of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Civil War History and  a member of Friends of Gettysburg.

Chuck and Elaine moved to Ocala in 1995. Chuck was instrumental in getting the Social Activities of the community started. He also served as president and vice president of the Ocala Palms resident Association.

Chuck was a member of the Ocala Palms Worship Community Church where he has also served as chairman of the council 2005-2007.

Visitation will be on May 26 from 2:00 – 4:00 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL. The family thanks all those at Legacy Hospice House for their devoted and attentive care for Chuck,
