Please accept my heartfelt condolences to your family. 1 Corinthians 15:25, 26 says "For he [Jesus] must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet. And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing". At Revelation 21:4 it says regarding Jehovah, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Finally, take courage in the hope of the resurrection promised at Acts 24:15 "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."

TO KNOW HER IS TO LOVE HER. Yes, that is right – present tense intended! What a girl that Marie! Even though my experience with her- in time - was quite short, her exuberant persona has been indelibly impressed upon my heart. Marie – my beautiful “SITCOM CHARACTER STAR” friend! Her exterior gave only a tiny glimpse of what she was all about. Bold, energetic, colorful as well as highly capable of sharing her softer side. Her freely expressed points of view were not always mine – but that was fine. We had fun exchanging thoughts and we listened. I recently read (a theory) – we inherit 25% of our characteristics from each parent. Of course, not every sibling will be endowed with the very same 25% but they will each get their fair share. Take good care of your inheritance and enjoy the “MARIE” within each of you – and yes, please let her shine once in awhile.
