Obituary of Barbara J Meyer

Barbara J. Meyer, 72, of The Villages, Florida passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at The Villages Regional Hospital.

She was a member of Paula’s Clown Alley, loved hot air balloons and vacationing. Family was important to Barbara. She was always remembering and celebrating her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews special days.

Survivors include her siblings Patricia Vogelsperger, Joseph Meyer (spouse Tina), Robert Meyer (spouse Mary Pat), Maureen Meyer and brother in-law Robert Kovarik; multiple nieces and nephews; and several friends, including Cathy and Lou Ladimir.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Gloria Meyer; her sisters Gloria Kovarik and Lorraine Jahelka and her brother-in-law George Vogelsperger.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 12-1 pm with a prayer service to follow at 1 pm, located at Hiers-Baxley Funeral and Cremation Life Event Center, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL 32162.
