My deepest sympathy Joan to you and your family. I sit here in shock having looked up your address to mail a four page letter I just wrote you. You can imagine my shock at reading this. My heart goes out to you in your loss. Seems only yesterday I watched you marry or listened to PJ complain because Rockford didn’t have a McDonalds! My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. You can call or text me 616-980-6143.

Dear Henkel family,
I am very sorry for your loss. The Bible gives us a wonderful hope for the future. In Revelation 21:4 it says "He will wipe out every tear from their eyed and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away."

We were truly blessed to have Feg for a friend. He had so many talents and knowledge that he readily shared with those around him. We will never forget Feg and will always treasure our time here on earth with him.
Love, Mike and Terry

Hi Feg,
I was hoping we could be together a lot longer as I'll miss our talks about the Navy and shooting together at OSA. I know you had a long hard struggle and you were a trooper thru it all. I am hoping you are at peace now and can enjoy the rewards of a life well lived. When it's my turn to pull up anchor, we'll meet again and it will be a friendship revived. So long ol'buddy.

One of the first memories was when I was....just guessing, maybe 4 or 5, picking him up for a visit from the Navy. It was me, my Dad (driving) & Uncle Feg. I was sitting on Uncle Feg’s lap, in the front passenger seat, because that’s what we did back then, and he taught me all about the CB. His handle was Sea Dog, my Dads was Mr. Bo Jangles. I wanted one too so he said you’ll be Small Fry. On that trip I kept trying to fall asleep in his lap and he kept popping my head up saying I needed to stay awake and pay attention. He expected much, pushed hard, and Loved unconditionally. I will miss him terribly but the memories will be forever.

To my Henkel family....our loss is filled with both sadness and joy!! We lost a wonderful man, but he is in Heaven with our Lord and Savior pain free!! I have so many memories of Uncle Feg, I wouldn’t know where to begin. I got to stay with Aunt Joanie and Uncle Feg a few times for weeks at a time. It has stayed with me how much fun it was to be there. My last stay was the summer before I started my Senior year of high school, and after one day, I was sure Uncle Feg was ready to drive me back to MI. Every other word out of my mouth was the word “bogus” and he hated it. I knew he did, so I used it as much that week as I could:) So I will end this with, “I love you Uncle Feg! Thank you for loving me during my “bogus” stage!!!”

Dear Henkel family,
I am very sorry for your loss. The Bible gives us a wonderful hope for the future. In Isaiah 25:8 it says "He will swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away tears from all faces." We can have confidence in all the Bible's promises.
