Obituary of Michael Edward “Big Mike” Fronius

Michael Edward “Big Mike” Fronius, 66, of Ocala, FL passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019.  Mike was born in Wheeling, West Virginia to Michael and Madelyne Fronius, and moved to Ocala in 2018 from Hollywood, FL.  Mike was a welder and machine operator for over 35 years.  He liked to swim, and loved “wheeling and dealing” in the markets of gold, silver, coins, and other collectibles.  Mike excelled in basketball in his younger years and deeply supported his children and grandchildren’s sports activities.

Mike is survived by his wife of 46 years, Geraldine “Ding” Fronius, sons Michael (Tameca) Fronius II,  and Jeffrey (Elissa) Fronius, 2 grandchildren; Michael Fronius III and Branden Fronius, and his sister Mary Wildey.  He was predeceased by his sister Lynn Sue Gump.
