Obituary of Deborah A. DiTaranto

Deborah “Debbie” A. DiTaranto of Dunnellon, Florida died unexpectedly on December 2, 2018 in a motor vehicle accident in Marion County Florida. She was 58 years old. 

Deb’s life will forever be cherished in the lives of her mother Virginia “Ginger” Boyle and sister Beverly Fleming, both of Oakmont, PA. Brother Kevin Balazs of Pittsburgh, PA. Nephew Paul Fleming of West Mifflin, PA. The Duffy family of The Villages, FL. The Duffy family of Mount Lebanon, PA.  The Duffy family of CA. Former husband Jerry DiTaranto of Deltona, FL. Predeceased by her father Carl Balazs. She will be sadly missed by all the rest of her family members and her friends.

Debbie was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1960. She graduated from Steel Valley High School in 1978. Her favorite place was the beach and at the age of 23, she made sunny central Florida her home. She quickly adjusted to her Southern life. Deb had a great sense of humor that kept people laughing and such a positive outlook on life. She liked posting her early morning messages, that so many of us found to be so uplifting and inspirational. We can find comfort in knowing that in her last days, Deb was happy and she was loved.

Deb worked for ANCORP in Williston, Florida as a Customer Service Manager/ Purchasing Agent. She was also formerly employed at American Aerospace Corp. in Deland, Superior Sheds in Orange City and Litton Laser Systems (now Northrop Grumman) in Apopka. 

A celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Saturday May 4, 2019 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral and Life Event Center from 1 pm to 3 pm, located at 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, Florida 32162. (www.hiers-baxley.com)
