Obituary of Edward B. Glancy

Edward B. Glancy, age 90, of The Villages, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Thursday, March 28, 2019. He was born April 8, 1928, in San Diego, California, to Leo and Jennie Glancy. In June of 1955, he married the beautiful, love of his life, Iris, in Berlin, Germany. Edward retired as a CW3 from the United States Army. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed music, singing, and sharing good times with friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law Jacqueline Glancy; grandsons Ross, Scott, and David: granddaughter, Jennifer: seven great grandchildren; and numerous close friends.  Edward was preceded in death by his wife Iris, of 64 years; son, Victor; his parents; brothers; and sisters.
