Obituary of Edward Zielinski
Edward “Ed” Zielinski, 92, of Ocklawaha, FL, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019. Ed was born in Cleveland, OH to Philip and Lottie Zielinski. He moved to Ocklawaha in 2003 from Tamarac, FL. He was an electrician by trade, and served in the US Navy during WWII, “The Big One”. He loved golfing, painting, and was a good cook. Ed was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Jeanne, in 2014, and his brother Philip. He is survived by five daughters; Karen (Allan) Markels, Kathy (Chuck) Canter, Kim (Rick) Boff, Kyle Heinlein, and Kelli Fanelli, 13 grandchildren; Edward, Daniel, and Joseph, Charles and Matthew, Phillip, Richard, Michael, and Andrew, Adam and Erin, and Samuel and Nicholas, 14 great grandchildren, brothers Walter and George Zielinski, and his sister Stephanie Griffiths.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3rd, 6-8pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service in Ocala. Funeral service will be 11:00am, Thursday, April 4th at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park where military honors will be rendered.
