When I wrote the obituary, I didn't mention she died on her beloved trike. She rode 160,000 miles without an accident. My message to everyone is to be mindful on the road. Don't assume. Don't assume the person in front of you is going to keep going - they may stop to turn!!! When driving, don't let your mind go on autopilot.
My mom's words on her trike:
this trike is the first/prototype model of an original design by tim mccoy. it is the only one of its kind.
the front end is a harley-davidson heritage softtail.
the rear is the front end of a chevy cavalier with 2.2 liter engine and 4 speed automatic transmission (with reverse).
the dashboard gauges are from the cavalier.
12 gal gastank.
the rear wheels are the front wheels of the cavalier, which are braced so they no longer "steer."
the rear fiberglass body is molded after a 1964 cobra.
the custom painting on the trunk is by ramon baqueron of crescent city, fl. it depicts an actual photograph taken by the trike's owner, barbara margaret mcgraw, of "splashbear," enjoying a dip in a pond one warm summer day in 2006!
road captain and ace mechanic: bill mcgraw.
she handles with ease: long, wide and low, with most weight on and forward of the rear axel, it is very stable. at typical cruising speeds, most curves can be made with one hand.
she gets about 30mpg.
and yes, she is a blast to drive!

Please accept my heartfelt condolences to your family. 1 Corinthians 15:25, 26 says "For he [Jesus] must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet. And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing". At Revelation 21:4 it says regarding Jehovah, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Finally, take courage in the hope of the resurrection promised at Acts 24:15 "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."

Barbara always had a smile for everyone she met. She was a visible presence at Sunday Mass and we could see the love she shared with her Creator. She treasured her family like jewels on a crown. Faith and family were her main focus. She traveled extensively, but her greatest joy was the journey to the arms of Jesus. She knows your pain and she is sending comforting thoughts your way. She knows God will send you lhealing angels your way. She hopes that you will soon get some relief in the good, the fun, the happy memories of her time with you. This is a pain that will live with you forever, but it is also part of your path to the Savior. Knowing you will see her again in Heaven will be both a comfort and an incentive to carry on Barbara's legacy of Christian love. She is so proud of her family. She is watching over you and sends you her love. Family and friends are here to help you through this difficult time. Rest in Peace, Barbara Margaret. Your family is surrounded by love.

I remember Barbara as a very loud person who knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to say what was on her mind.
She loved her country, she loved God, she was a very loving mother and grandparent

Dear Margaret family,
I am very sorry for your loss. A scripture that encouraged me very much when I have lost loved ones in death is John 5:28,29. It says “Do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”
