Obituary of Thomas A. Kreuer
Thomas A. Kreuer, 69 of Ocala, FL passed away on Monday, Feb 25th at the Legacy Hospice House after a long battle with cancer. Tom was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Ocala in 1990 from PA. He was a Sonographer for over 20 years in the local area. Tom was a US Army veteran and served in Korea. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and did a nursing home ministry. He enjoyed gardening, but mostly spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by Parents Albert and Dorothea Kreuer, Brother Joseph Kreuer, sisters Margaret Stewart and Mary Piper, and Granddaughter MJ. Tom is survived by his devoted wife Kathy of 43 years, son Aaron and wife Carrie-Ann of Ocala, FL, James and wife Britney of Ocala, FL, daughter Jennifer Pallai and husband Robert of St. Johns, FL, daughter Melanie Kapp and husband Joel of Rathdrum, ID, brother William Kreuer and wife Janet of Zelienople, PA., Grandchildren Elyrika, Jakob, Mya, Kaleb, JT, Evan, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Olivia, Emalee, Colin, Benjamin, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be having viewing hours at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with Tom’s celebration of life service on Saturday, March 2 at 11:00 am at the Central Baptist Church with the family receiving friend from 10:00am to 11:00 am. The Army will be presenting honors at church after the service. The burial will be at Florida National Cemetery with a private service.
