Obituary of Josephine Belle MacDonald

Josephine Belle MacDonald, 90, of Ocala passed Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Legacy House in Ocala. Josephine was a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to this area from there in 1964. She was a homemaker, helped her husband with their pool business, Cadillac Pools and later in life worked at LensCrafters with Dr. Lang.  She is an active member of Grace Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School, was President of Women in the Church, was a church receptionist, and was involved in the cake ministry.  Her hobbies were reading.  She loved being a mother to her 9 children and cited them as her best accomplishment.  Survivors include her children Marcia  Devor Sharon  Sutton Bill  MacDonald Amy  Ritchhart Laura  Taylor Sandra  Nerfli Mark  MacDonald Kenny  MacDonald, 31 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson.  She is preceded in death by her daughter Debbie Brunswick and her husband William MacDonald. A funeral service will be held at 10AM on February 13, 2019 at Grace Presbyterian Church, 2255 SE 38th Street, Ocala, FL, 34480. A visitation will be held from 5-7PM on February 12, 2019 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala.
