Dear Rose family, I am very sorry for your loss. A scripture that encouraged me very much when I have lost loved ones in death is John 5:28,29. It says "Do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

Aunt Joyce, You were such a beautiful person-inside and out. I love you and thank you for being such a pillar of strength and source of encouragement to me all these years. I so enjoyed and appreciated our times together, the prayers and laughs we shared. One of my favorite memories is the time I called and you could barely talk through your laughter. You told me you were going to a luncheon with the ladies and you all had to make your own hats. I asked you to describe your hat. You described a toilet seat with toilet paper rolls all around! My, how we laughed. What a sense of humor. What a lovely woman of God. What a true Southern Belle. I will surely miss you, but know you are finally with Jesus & Uncle Walt. That makes me smile... Can't wait to see you again. Love you always "Mama Joyce".

To the family and friends of Joyce. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to all of you for your loss. The death of a loved one is very difficult to accept and even harder to understand. However Jehovah the God of all comfort promises in Revelations 21:3,4 that soon death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry or pain the former things have passed away. May these words provide you with a measure of comfort now and in the days ahead.
