Grandma was spunky and fiesty. She would speak the truth but was never too harsh .
I remember one time, she told me not to wear my clothes any tighter. Lol
Another time, she was upset that I had to work such long hours. As a female, she didn’t think I should be doing that ( frankly, I agreed) .
I never heard Grandma lose her temper or speak an unkind word to anyone. She loved animals and was sweet and gentle. Loved being social around family and friends .
I remember holidays in NY , when grandma would cook all day long. It was so yummy.
I wish we could have had more time together. I always learned new things about her every time we got together.
She really was amazing.
I will miss her bunches.
But, I have comfort in knowing she is home with loved ones that have gone before her. And one day , we will see her again .
Love you Grandma.

"Great Grandma" - how lucky am I to have been able to say that for the last 26 years! It truly was a blessing to have you around. From my childhood days when you would nag me to finish my bowl of spaghetti to just this past Thanksgiving, when you told me about sleeping next to the horses in Italy and working for your fathers shop in NY. So in awe of you and the life you lived. "You want a punch in the nose?" is also now adopted into my vernacular, thanks for that too (sidenote: she said this to the nurse in playful jester, was hilarious). Brings me comfort knowing you're up in heaven with your loved ones now, love you.

A favorite phrase my girls and I will always remember, and now use often, is when Grandma asked the nurse, who was trying to get Grandma to take all her yukky-tasting medicine, "you wanna punch in the nose?" :) Grandma was so spunky, tough, and uncomplaining. I love you, Grandma!

Grandma, you were an amazing woman. You came to this country as an immigrant and made your way in life with your paticular zest and humor — you were tough but soft too. I loved when you called us “ doll” and forced italian goodies on us:-) . I remember you holding your great grandson, Brendan, fiercely protectice and loving, talking to him about the life you wished for him. I remember our ride back to Florida just a month ago — hoping that being “ home” would give you more time with us. Alas, it was not to be. I know you earned your way yo heaven , and are with your brothers and son and Grandpa. I will be praying to you to help protect and guide your great grandchildren. We love you always.

To the family and friends of Angelina. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to all of you for your loss. The death of a loved one is very difficult to accept and even harder to understand. However Jehovah the God of all comfort promises in Revelations 21:3,4 that soon death will be no more. Neither mourning nor outcry or pain, the former things have passed away. May these words provide you with a measure of comfort now and in the days ahead.
