We met Al Dunlap through the gift of one of our rescue horses to Judy, on the occasion of their Anniversary in 2018. It was our privilege to visit their farm in Ocala and see the care and attention that went into looking after their animals. His attention to detail and insistence on the best care was remarkable, and we had no hesitation in approving the adoption of Renegade. Most commentary on Al's life has concentrated on him as a businessman, we saw another side, that of steward of our animal friends who have no voice of their own. RIP Al and our condolences to Judy. Mr Al always came into Sam's Club for coffee and spend time with his friends. He became like family to me and to everyone. He would always call me his "Grandma" even though I'm 15yrs his junior.
I'm going to miss you deeply. You always made me feel like you listened to me and were interested in what I was saying.
I'll always have you and Ms Judy in my prayers.
It's your time to rest now. I'll see you on the other side.
R.I.P. Mr Al.

To the family and friends of Albert. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to all of you for your loss. The death of a loved one is very difficult to accept and even harder to understand. However Jehovah the God of all comfort promises in Revelations 21:3,4 that soon death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry or pain, the former things have passed away. May these words provide you with a measure of comfort now and in the days ahead
