Obituary of Winnifred Murrah Boatright
Winnifred Murrah Boatright, 82, of Belleview passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Ted & Diane Brandley House in Summerfield. Winnifred was a native of Live Oak, Florida and moved to this area in 1980. She was a Driver's License Examiner for the State of Florida for twenty one years. Mrs. Boatright was a member of First Baptist Church of Belleview. Winnifred enjoyed crafting, camping, fishing, boating, shopping, cooking, baking, canning, and being around her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Thomas H. Boatright, three sons and their wives, Ron and Amy, Summerfield, FL, Tommy and Melinda, Belleview, FL, Alan, Summerfield, FL, nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Winnifred is preceded in death by her parents George and May Murrah, and three brothers, Johnny Murrah, George Murrah, and GH Murrah, all formerly of Live Oak, FL.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Belleview. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Belleview. Interment will be in Clayland Baptist Church Cemetery in Live Oak.
