Obituary of Augustine Michael Coughlin, Jr.

Augustine Michael Coughlin, Jr., or “Mike” to all that knew and loved him, 78, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Monday, January 21^st, 2019.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 24^th at 8:30am at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala, followed by a brunch gathering at their home.

Michael was born in Lawrence, MA on February 15, 1940. He met his beloved wife, Clarice A. Slover, at Northeast High School in St. Pete, FL. They married on February 21, 1960. Michael served for the National Guard for 6 years active duty. Michael was a Letter Carrier for the Pinellas Park Post Office for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was active in his parish, Queen of Peace.

Michael is survived by his wife, Clarice Coughlin, his 3 children, Douglas Coughlin, Tamra Catt, and Mariann Primus, as well as 7 grandchildren. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Coughlin and Augustine M. Coughlin, and his sister “Ruthie”.
