Obituary of Colby James McKinney

Colby James McKinney, 29, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2019 at The Villages Regional Hospital.  He was born in Ocala on March 15, 1989 to Frank and Loretta McKinney. Colby was a third-generation roofer and was proud to be a part of the family company. He was a beloved son, and adoring baby brother, doting uncle, caring nephew, devoted boyfriend, and loyal friend. He loved nature and took time to admire the beauty around him. He loved his dog and lived to make everyone around him smile. His final wishes were honored by giving life and hope to 4 families through donation. He touched the hearts of many and will be forever missed.

Colby is survived by his father, Frank, and mother Loretta; sister Katy, and brothers Frankie and Luke; beautiful nieces, Rozelynn, Kaelynn, and Lola; longtime girlfriend and loyal companion, Jess and Minnie.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 26^th from 2-3:30pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services of Ocala.  A funeral ceremony will begin at 3:30.
