Obituary of James A. Blizzard

James “Jim” A. Blizzard, Jr. 63 of Summerfield, FL passed away on Thursday, Jan 10^th. Jim was born in Miami, FL and was a US Navy Veteran. Jim retired from the Marion Co. Fire Department after 27 years of service as a Firefighter/EMT. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Colt Blizzard. Jim is survived by his Wife- Alice Blizzard, Children- Tabatha (Michael) Bilbruck, Cathryn Langfitt, James Blizzard (Melissa) III, Michael Turner. Sisters- Terrie (Greg) McClellan, Esta Burleson, Brother- Virgil Blizzard. Grandchildren- Chelsea Starr, Dawson Blizzard, Rowan Turner, Alexis Langfitt, Trenady  Bilbruck, Summer Mitchum,  Devin Bilbruck, Landon Blizzard, Great Grandson- Derek Roeder. The family will be having a celebration of life service on Sunday, Jan 20^th at 10:00 AM at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd with Navy Honors along with the Marion Co.
