Obituary of Mary V. Brend

Mary V. “Ginger” Brend was born on 4/30/1935 and passed into God’s hands on 1/10/19.  She leaves behind her adoring husband of 62 years Richard Brend; three children and their spouses, Jeffrey (Linda) Brend, Eileen (Michael) Schrempp, Michael (Kay) Brend; six grandchildren Robert Brend, Kevin (Royce) Brend, Kimberly (Chris) Voight, Nicole Schrempp, Matthew Brend and Ella Brend; one great grandson Colton Voight.  Mary’s sisters Dolores (John) Janik and Dorothy Kmety had a lifetime of sibling rivalry and love.  

 

Mary was a true life companion to Richard.  She would play cards with her grandchildren and friends for hours.  She was the best grandma any grandchild could hope for.  Her children believe they owe a lot of their joy of life to her dedication as a mother. 

 

Funeral Mass at St. Pius X, 1025 E. Madison Ave., Lombard, IL on Saturday, 1/26 at 10 AM.  Arrangements entrusted with HIERS-BAXLEY Funeral & Cremation Life Event Center, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL 32162.
