Obituary of Floyd Allen Pederson

Floyd Allen Pederson, 80, of Lady Lake, Florida passed away January 9, 2019 at The Villages Hospice House, The Villages, Florida. He was the husband of Sharon Sue Pederson for 30 years.

Floyd was born in Gary, Indiana a son of the late Frithjof and Ruth Pederson. Floyd was a charter member of New Covenant United Methodist Church in The Villages, and was an active member of the Chancel choir and several other church groups. As an avid golfer, Floyd was known to hit them long and straight.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and supporter of his community; a friend to all.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Sharon Sue Pederson and daughters, Kirsten Zerba and her husband Brian of Mount Marion, NY and Kathrin Lemaich and her husband Dale of Crown Point, IN and son, Kevin Pederson and his wife Julie of Crown Point, IN. He was the proud grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Along with his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Gene and Larry Pederson.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the New Covenant United Methodist Church, 3470 Woodbridge Drive, The Villages, FL 32162.
