Obituary of Edward J. Welby

Edward J. Welby, 78, of The Villages, Florida passed away December 12, 2018 at Promise Hospital of Florida at The Villages, Oxford, Florida. He was the husband of Carole Denton-Welby.

Edward was born in Brooklyn, New York a son of the late Edward and Mary Welby. He was a retired welding teacher and taught many students. He was a member of New Covenant United Methodist Church, The Villages, FL.

Edward is survived by his wife, Carole Denton-Welby of the Villages; son Timothy Welby and his wife Victoria of St. Petersburg, FL; son Steven Welby and his wife Debby of Brick, NJ, and 3 step-sons Curtis, Craig and Glenn Denton. He is also survived by several grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at New Covenant United Methodist Church, The Villages, FL on Friday January 11, 2019 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by Funeral services at 11:00 AM. The inurnment will immediately follow the service at New Covenant.
