Randy, Ian, and DJ's family, I am so heartbroken to hear of DJ's passing. I first met DJ in 1988 while stationed together at Norton AFB in San Bernardino California. She started out as my colleague, then when we moved to Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, she became my boss, then my friend. I have many memories of our time together, from Broncos games in Los Angeles, to squadron picnics, to potlucks, to concerts, to luncheons, to barbeques, to retirement parties. She had such a positive outlook in everything and was able to turn something unpleasant to something of joy and fun...and that giggle! We did not keep in touch often enough when she and Randy move to Florida but she never left my heart. She will be missed greatly. She had gone through a lot and was a fighter, one of the strongest woman I have ever met.
DJ is at peace and is in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Sending our sympathies, thoughts, prayers, and love. May God comfort you at the time. God bless you all. Donna and Dave
