Obituary of Francis John Moramarco

It is with great sadness that the family of Francis John Moramarco announce his passing after a lengthy illness on December 12, 2018 at the age of 83.

Frank will be lovingly remembered by his wife Annette of 54 years, his brother Eugene, sister-in-law Cathy, brother-in-law Chuck Vigilante, sister-in-law Brianna Doherty, nephews Gregg, Adam and neice Rachel, cousins Ruby MaGrory, Werner Tuppatsch, Lucille Tuppatsch, and Lucy and John Pratti.

There will be a funeral mass at St Mark The Evangelist, 7081 SE Hwy 42, Summerfield, FL on January 4, 2019 at 10am. After mass burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL.

Frank enlisted in the Army and was quickly put into the Special Army Band, that only played for special occasions and visiting dignitaries. He was chosen because he had played professionally and he really enjoyed playing the saxophone and clarinet in the Army.

He worked for Lorillard Tobacco Company for several years as a District Manager before he opened his own business.

Frank was always ambitious and decided he would like to open beauty parlors and boutiques. He decided to go to Beauty Culture School to obtain a license to do hair. He attended Beauty School for three years at night and became an accomplished Licensed Hairdresser.

He also owned a very successful Gold Crown Hallmark store in Stony Brook, NY for many years.

He was an avid gardener and loved tending to his flowers and cutting his shrubs. He loved to play pickle ball and played daily. He was also a volunteer at The Villages Regional Hospital. Frank loved to dance and he belonged to many Ballroom Dance Clubs in the area taking lessons to perfect his style.

The family requests no flowers be sent to the service and would like to request memorial donations to God Answers Prayers Assisted Living Facility, 13470 SE 101st Terrace, Belleview, FL 34420 in memory of Francis John Moramarco.
