Obituary of Betty J. O’Neill

Betty J. O’Neill, 92, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 after a brief stay at Cornerstone Hospice.

She was born one of seven children in Shamokin, PA on June 7, 1926. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph in 2007. They were married sixty years.

After moving to The Villages in 2003, Ralph taught Betty to golf at the age of 78. She even had a hole in one! She had many devoted friends and loved to go to lunch and the movies.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Peggy Noto and husband Pat of Allentown, PA; Robin Pedersen and husband Richard of The Villages, FL; three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and loving sister, Deloris Marth of Allentown, PA.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, 250 Avenida Los Angelos, The Villages on January 8, 2019 at 10:30 AM.

A private graveside service will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations in Betty’s memory to the Cornerstone Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL, 32162.
