Obituary of Jean Martens Strom

Jean Martens Strom, age 89, of The Villages, Florida passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 while under the care of hospice. Jean was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Agnes and Edward Martens. In 1951 she was married to her husband Bob. They retired to Florida in 1990 where she enjoyed gardening and fishing. In 2005 they moved to The Villages, Florida.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years of marriage Robert Strom; sons Leonard Strom (Tracy) and Michael Strom; daughter Linda Jo Finstrom (Brad); sister Mary DuFour (Victor); 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother James Martens; sister June Gross (Raymond).

Memorial service will be Friday, January 4, 2019 at  2:00 PM at HIERS-BAXLEY Funeral & Cremation Life Event Center, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL  32162.
