Obituary of Ephriam Barrow Stockman

Ephriam Barrow Stockman, age 71, of Silver Springs, Fl passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. He was born in Dade City, Fl on September 20, 1946 to Walter & Margaret Stockman.

 

Eph served in the Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. He made many great memories working in South Florida as a food service director for the hospital, as well as a catering specialist and talented ice sculptor. Eph enjoyed coaching little league baseball throughout his sons’ youth. His passion in life was his family. Over the years, he dedicated his time to his sons on both a recreational and professional level. The last years of his life were spent working together, every single week with his family. Eph enjoyed spending his spare time riding his airboat on Lake George and being outdoors with his family and friends.

 

He is survived by his two sons Nathan Stockman (Abigail) of Ocala, Michael Stockman (Rebecca) of Silver Springs and his granddaughter Harper. He is also survived by Frances Stockman (mother to Nathan & Michael) of Arizona and his long-time partner, Robin Bright of Silver Springs. 

 

The family will receive friends at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, FL on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 10am until 11am with services being held at 11:00AM.  Burial will follow at Nichols Cemetery, Pedro, FL.
