Obituary of Rocco Jerry Liotti
Rocco Jerry Liotti, 96, passed from this life Sunday October 8, 2023. Born in Chicago, IL on August 19, 1927, Rocco was one of 12 children born to parents, Gerardo and Carmela.
He served in the Army Airforce from 1945 to 1947. He was a sergeant and served in the occupation of Japan.Rocco married the love of his life, Eleanor in 1960 and was married to her for 54 years until she passed in 2014.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Pinkerton (Bob) of Panama City Beach, FL, son Frank of Port St. Lucy, FL, daughters, Karen Babcock (Charles) of Marengo, IL and Donna Reid (Brian) of Ocean Springs, MS, son, Ronald Liotti (Alison) of Palatine, IL and 6 grandchildren, Rocco, Kevin, Christina, Nicholas, Anne and Adam.
Rocco worked as a foreman at a financial printing company in Chicago. He lived in Arlington Heights, IL for 26 years until he retired in 1991 and moved to Panama City Beach, FL and then to The Villages in 1999. Rocco enjoyed bowling in earlier years and was an avid golfer for many years in The Villages.
The family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation from 10:00 to 12:00 on Thursday October 12th, followed by a funeral service at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL.
