Obituary of Betty Irene Young

Betty I. Perdue Young Betty peacefully passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 99. Born July 24, 1924, in Illinois to King Henry Perdue and Lillie Elizabeth Gants Perdue. Betty was active in Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary activities. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Casper E. Young, Sr and her son, Casper E. Young, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Fant (Gus) and Nancy Young. And son, Walter H. Young (Patti. Also 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great grands and 1 Great-Great grand. Service will be held at St. Martin's Anglican Church, Hwy 326, Saturday September 30, 2023, at 11AM. Interment will follow on Monday, October 2, at the Florida National Cemetery at 1:30PM.
