Obituary of Lee Nell Lanum Armstrong

Lee Nell Lanum Armstrong, 85, of Summerfield, FL passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the Villages Regional Hospital. Mrs. Armstrong moved from Charlottesville, VA to Summerfield 5 years ago. She retired from Centel Telephone Company after 35 years of service and was a member of Cherry Avenue Christian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Betty (Rudy) Herndon, Summerfield, FL, a sister, Norma Ruth Bickers, Lake Monticello, VA, 3 grandchildren, Tammara Cassidy, TN, Christopher T. Herndon, CA, and Anita L. Lilly VA. ,and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Ann Lilly and her husbands, John A. Lanum and Milton L. Armstrong. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Riverview Cemetery.
