Obituary of Melody Mel Jones

Melody “Mel” K. Jones of Chiefland passed away March 21, 2009. Born in Lima, OH she moved to Chiefland from Kentucky 14 years ago. She was a homemaker and enjoyed auctions and visiting with family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Charles Smith, JR. of Chiefland, her daughter, Mary Eik of Fredericksburg, VA, sons John Jordan of Frankfort, IN and Ben Jordon of Denver CO, her grandchildren Sean, Brandon, & Megan Eik of Fredericksburg, VA, Alli, Ian, Benjamin Jordan and Jacob Martinez, all of Frankfort, IN. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 24 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Kenneth Ray Smith officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior the service.
