Obituary of William Harry

William Edgar Harry, 62 Belleview â€" William Edgar Harry passed away on April 10, 2009 in The Villages, FL. William Edgar Harry was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He came here from Englewood, FL, 25 years ago and retired as a machinist and carpenter. He belonged to the DAV of Belleview, FL, and the American Legion in Georgia. He enjoyed fishing motorcycling, camping, wood working and spending time with his grandchildren. He served in the US Army, Navy and Coast Guard during the Viet Nam War. He is survived by his wife Linda Harry of Belleview, FL; his son David L. Mathis, of Kanopolis, NC, his daughter Susan H. Weikel and his son-in-law, Davie Weikel of Apopka, FL; his mother, Annie Lee Patton; his brother Stephen Wade Harry of Roswell, GA, and his sister Jackie Byant of Athens, Ga. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service of The Villages, FL. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
