Obituary of John Maynard

MAYNARD, JOHN H. Anthony - John H. Maynard, 84, died at his residence on Friday, April 10, 2009. He was born in Pike County, KY and moved here 54 years ago. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Sprint. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ella of Anthony his daughters , Mary Brown and husband Jimmy and Devetta Spicer, his sons, Robert, Daryl and Howard Maynard, his sister, Hertha Ziegler and his five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Geraldine and Lucy Ann and his son Gary. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala with Rev. Harold Wyatt officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 PM. Burial will be in Southern Home Cemetery.
